The Western gothic aesthetic has been taking festival season by storm and we can't get enough! For those of you who haven't heard yet, the "Western Gothic Aesthetic" is essentially an edgier take on the bigger Western trend that we have been seeing a lot of recently. This aesthetic takes references from vintage Americana styles, such as cowboy boots and fringe jackets, and brings about a moodier energy to these silhouettes.
In typical Azalea Wang fashion, we decided to take on our own twist to this style with our Newest Collection: The Western Gothic Festival Edit. Our Ria boot is a great statement boot for any festival you have coming up. This thigh high Western boot has a traditional cowboy boot silhouette at the bottom, but has a chap-style asymmetric silhouette at the shaft opening. These definitely add a flirty twist to a classic Western boot. We would style these with an oversized fringe lined Western shirt and a cowboy hat to finish the look to complete the look.

Something great about the Western gothic aesthetic is that you can mix other edgy Americana style references with it and it will totally make sense together. Our favorite way to do this is by incorporating some leather to the look! Our Silvia black faux leather moto jacket features a sleek silhouette with silver studded accents and would be a great addition to any festival outfit. To style it with the Western gothic aesthetic, pair the jacket with our Joydistrict black knee-high Western boot. We decided to incorporate two moto inspired pieces in this one. Our Gazette black cropped moto jacket features an ultra cropped silhouette with rhinestone embellishments to really make the jacket shine. We decided to pair this with our show-stopping Buckledup black mid-calf length moto boot to go with the motorcycle chic style that the jacket brings. Pair this with a long black flowy skirt to tie the whole look together and re-incorporate the Western gothic style references.

This look is the perfect balance of edgy and feminine for music festival season.
